About One For Fun
One For Fun Ltd is a Glasgow-based distributor of licensed toys and branded consumer products, moving high volumes of inbound stock and outbound orders across the UK and beyond. As the business grew, its warehouse had to keep pace with rising order volumes without losing track of stock.
The Challenge
Before Canary7, One For Fun had limited visibility across the full warehouse lifecycle. Stock was hard to track accurately through receipting, picking and despatch, there was no real-time view of the day's picking requirements, and traceability was restricted once an item left its location. As order volumes grew the operation began to fall behind, with too little certainty about where stock had been allocated once it moved.
What Changed
Canary7 gave One For Fun full traceability across receipting, picking and despatch, with complete oversight of the floor. Demand-driven replenishment keeps stock aligned to the units it is actually picked and sold in, and custom picking labels track items at container level so they stay visible right through to despatch. Two bespoke dashboards, running on TVs on the warehouse floor, show live picking priorities and the day's demand at a glance. Canary7 integrates with the company's Acumatica ERP to keep data in step, while carrier integrations with FedEx, DPD and DHL generate labels and tracking numbers automatically.
“Canary7 has given us full traceability across every stage of our receipting, picking, and despatch process — something we didn’t have before and now couldn’t be without.”
